အျမတ္ဆုံးအရာ

Maggan' atthangiko settho
saccanam caturo pada Virago settho dhammanam
dipadanan ca cakkhuma.

''မဂၢါန႒ဂႋေကာ ေသေ႒ာ၊ သစၥာနံ စတုေရာ ပဒါ။

 ဝိရာေဂါ ေသေ႒ာ ဓမၼာနံ၊ ဒြိပဒါနၪၥ စကၡဳမာ။

The best of paths is the Eightfold Path. The best of truths are the four Sayings. Non-attachment is the best of states. The best of bipeds is the Seeing One.

လမ္းအားလုံးတို႕တြင္ အဂၤါရွစ္ပါးရိွေသာ လမ္းသည္ အျမတ္ဆုံးျဖစ္၏။
သစၥာအားလုံးတို႕တြင္ သစၥာေလးပါးသည္  အျမတ္ဆုံးျဖစ္၏။
သေဘာတရားအားလုံးတို႕တြင္ ရာဂကင္းေသာသေဘာသည္ အျမတ္ဆုံးျဖစ္၏။
ေျခႏွစ္ေခ်ာင္းရိွကုန္ေသာ လူ နတ္ ျဗဟၼာသတၱ၀ါအားလုံးတို႕တြင္ 
ပညာမ်က္စိရိွေတာ္မူေသာ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားသည္ အျမတ္ဆုံးျဖစ္၏။ 

Eso'va maggo natth' anno
dassanassa visuddhiya
Etamhi tumhe patipajjatha
marass' etam pamohanam.

''ဧေသဝ မေဂၢါ နတၳေညာ၊ ဒႆနႆ ဝိသုဒၶိယာ။

 ဧတဥႇိ တုေမွ ပဋိပဇၨထ၊ မာရေႆတံ ပေမာဟနံ။

This is the only Way. There is none other for the purity of vision.
Do you follow this path. This is the bewilderment of Mara.

ဥာဏ္အျမင္စင္ၾကယ္ရန္တြက္ ဤအဂၤါရွစ္ပါးရိွေသာလမ္းသည္သာလွ်င္ လမ္းမွန္ျဖစ္၏။ 
တျခားလမ္းမရိွ၊ သင္တို႕သည္  ဤလမ္းမွန္ကိုသာ လိုက္ၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊
ဤလမ္းသည္ မာရ္မင္းေတြေ၀ရာ(မျဖင္ရာ) ျဖစ္၏။ 

Etamhi tumbe patipanna
dukkhassantam karissatha
Akkhato ve maya maggo
annaya salla santhanam.

''ဧတဥႇိ တုေမွ ပဋိပႏၷာ၊ ဒုကၡႆႏၲံ ကရိႆထ။

 အကၡာေတာ ေဝါ မယာ မေဂၢါ၊ အညာယ သလႅကႏၲနံ။

Following this Way you shall make an end of suffering.
This verily is the Way declared by me when I had learnt
to remove the arrow (of suffering).

သင္တို႕သည္ ဤလမ္းကိုလိုက္ၾကလွ်င္ ဆင္းရဲအဆုံးသို႕ ေရာက္ၾကကုန္္လတၱံ႕၊
ရာဂစေသာ ဆူးေျငာင့္တို႕မွ ကင္းေသာလမ္းမွန္ကို ကိုယ္တိုင္သိ၍
ဤလမ္းမွန္ကို သင္တို႕အား ငါ ညႊန္ၾကား၏။

Tumhehi kiccam atappam
akkhataro tathagata
Patipanna pamokkhanti
jhayino mara bandhana.

''တုေမွဟိ ကိစၥမာတပၸံ၊ အကၡာတာေရာ တထာဂတာ။

 ပဋိပႏၷာ ပေမာကၡႏၲိ၊ စ်ာယိေနာ မာရဗႏၶနာ''

You yourselves should make the effort; the Tathagatas are only teachers. Those who enter this Path and who are meditative, are delivered from the bonds of Mara.

သင္တို႕ကိုယ္တုိင္ အားထုတ္ၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊ ဘုရားရွင္တို႕သည္ လမ္းကို ညြန္ျပတတ္ကုန္၏။ 
ျပသည့္အတိုင္း လိုက္နာက်င့္ၾကံၾက၍ စ်ာန္သမာပတ္ရေသာ သူတို႕သည္
၀ဋ္ဆင္းရဲတည္းဟူေသာ မာရ္မင္း၏ အေႏွာင္အဖြဲ႕မွ လြတ္ကုန္၏။

 ပၪၥသတဘိကၡဳဝတၳဳ

 မဂၢါန႒ဂႋေကာတိ (ဓမၼ၊႒၊၂၊၂၅၃ ဣမံ ဓမၼေဒသနံ သတၳာ ေဇတဝေန ဝိဟရေႏၲာ ပၪၥသေတ ဘိကၡဴ အာရဗ႓ ကေထသိ။

 ေတ ကိရ သတၳရိ ဇနပဒစာရိကံ စရိတြာ ပုန သာဝတၳႎ အာဂေတ ဥပ႒ာနသာလာယ နိသီဒိတြာ ''အသုကဂါမေတာ အသုကဂါမႆ မေဂၢါ သေမာ၊ အသုကဂါမႆ မေဂၢါ ဝိသေမာ၊ သသကၡေရာ၊ အသကၡေရာ''တိအာဒိနာ နေယန အတၱေနာ ဝိစရိတမဂၢံ အာရဗ႓ မဂၢကထံ ကေထသုံ။ သတၳာ ေတသံ အရဟတၱႆူပနိႆယံ ဒိသြာ တံ ဌာနံ အာဂႏ႖ာ ပညတၱာသေန နိသိေႏၷာ ''ကာယ ႏုတၳ၊ ဘိကၡေဝ၊ ဧတရဟိ ကထာယ သႏၷိသိႏၷာ''တိ ပုစၧိတြာ ''ဣမာယ နာမာ''တိ ဝုေတၱ၊ ''ဘိကၡေဝ၊ အယံ ဗာဟိရကမေဂၢါ၊ ဘိကၡဳနာ နာမ အရိယမေဂၢ ကမၼံ ကာတုံ ဝ႗တိ၊ ဧဝဥႇိ ကေရာေႏၲာ ဘိကၡဳ သဗၺဒုကၡာ ပမုစၥတီ''တိ ဝတြာ ဣမာ ဂါထာ အဘာသိ --

 ဒႆနႆ ဝိသုဒၶိယာတိ မဂၢဖလဒႆနႆ ဝိသုဒၶတၳံ ေယာ မယာ ''ေသေ႒ာ''တိ ဝုေတၱာ၊ ဧေသာဝ မေဂၢါ၊ နတၳေညာ။ ဧတဥႇိ တုေမွတိ တသၼာ တုေမွ ဧတေမဝ ပဋိပဇၨထ။ မာရေႆတံ ပေမာဟနႏၲိ ဧတံ မာရေမာဟနံ မာရမႏၴနႏၲိ ဝုစၥတိ။ ဒုကၡႆႏၲႏၲိ သကလႆပိ ဝ႗ဒုကၡႆ အႏၲံ ပရိေစၧဒံ ကရိႆထာတိ အေတၳာ။ အညာယ သလႅကႏၲနႏၲိ ရာဂသလႅာဒီနံ ကႏၲနံ နိမၼထနံ အဗၺဴဟဏံ ဧတံ မဂၢံ၊ မယာ ဝိနာ အႏုႆဝါဒီဟိ အတၱပစၥကၡေတာ ဉတြာဝ အယံ မေဂၢါ အကၡာေတာ၊ ဣဒါနိ တုေမွဟိ ကိေလသာနံ အာတာပေနန ''အာတပၸ''ႏၲိ သခႍ ဂတံ တႆ အဓိဂမတၳာယ သမၼပၸဓာနဝီရိယံ ကိစၥံ ကရဏီယံ။ ေကဝလဥႇိ အကၡာတာေရာဝ တထာဂတာ။ တသၼာ ေတဟိ အကၡာတဝေသန ေယ ပဋိပႏၷာ ဒြီဟိ စ်ာေနဟိ စ်ာယိေနာ၊ ေတ ေတဘူမကဝ႗သခၤါတာ မာရဗႏၶနာ ပေမာကၡႏၲီတိ အေတၳာ။

 ေဒသနာဝသာေန ေတ ဘိကၡဴ အရဟေတၱ ပတိ႒ဟႎသု၊ သမၸတၱာနမၸိ သာတၳိကာ ဓမၼေဒသနာ အေဟာသီတိ။

The path to perfection

A group of bhikkhus after accompanying the Buddha to a village, returned to the Jetavana monastery. In the evening they talked about the trip, especially the nature of the land: whether it was level or hilly, clayey or stony, etc. The Buddha came to them in the midst of their conversation and said to them, 'Bhikkhus the path you are talking about is external to you; a bhikkhu should only be concerned with the path of the Noble Ones (ariyas) and strive to do what should be done for the attainment of perfection that leads to the realisation of Perfect Peace (Nibbana).
